A few words about me

I mainly focus on backend technologies (PHP, Symfony, Laravel, SQL), but I am also comfortable working with frontend (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery). I work in Linux and Windows environments and use SSH and bash. I am also interested in the topic of web application security - I take care of proper data validation, access control and basic security against attacks such as SQL Injection and XSS. I am eager to take my first job as a Junior Developer to further develop my skills and gain experience in teamwork.

My adventure with programming began in late 2015/2016, when I was looking for a solution to control heating at home. The systems available on the market were integrated with modern heating systems, and I had an older system. So I decided to create my own program tailored to my needs. This system still works today and is still being developed.

Over time, other needs arose. As an international driver, I had to create time-consuming daily reports of trips through various countries in accordance with EU regulations. I decided to automate this process and created an application to manage working time, rest and documentation. I used it from 2016 until the end of 2024.

The next step was volunteering at the Association of Radio Communications Enthusiasts, where I helped create a system for the 10th anniversary graduation campaign. I prepared an information page and a so-called "cluster" - a form for recording radio communications and a mechanism for counting points. After the action, I wrote my own CMS system for managing the association's website, which is still working and being developed today.

In 2023/2024 I completed my first project for the company - a simple but practical system for monitoring the work of the watchman. The main requirement was to create a reliable, almost โ€œindestructibleโ€ solution that does not require active maintenance (such as bouncing RFID tags) from the employee. I wrote a bell-switch-based application that records the watchman's presence at a given place and time, with reports available remotely in a browser.
